How it works:

Step # 1 — 30 min Virtual Discovery Call

• Choose a date & time for your appointment, using our video consultation form. Pick which platform you’re most comfortable using (Facetime, Zoom, Skype) and one of our bridal stylists will be in touch with you to confirm your scheduled time.

• Complete a measurement chart and send it to at info@nemo.co.nz us prior to your virtual discovery call. 

• On the call, our designer/stylist will ask you all about your wedding plans, hoping to discover your bridal style and learn all about that dress you’ve been dreaming of.  This is your opportunity to share all of your inspiration, so be sure to bring any research / photos you may have found, from pinterest boards to instagram saves, or even photos of you in dresses that you’ve tried on already. 

• If you’ve already got a dress that just needs altering, book your video consultation and skip to Step #3.

Step #2 — Dress Tour

• Based on the information you gave us during your discovery call, our team will carefully curate a selection of gowns just for you to view.

• We will preview each of the gowns to you live on video, showcasing them up close to see how the fabric moves and explaining any finer design details, so to give you the best indication of their look & feel. 

• Next, feel free to choose one to three of the gowns that you would like to try on at home.  We just ask for a security deposit of $150 per dress, plus shipping, and we will keep your credit card number securely on file until we receive the gowns back in store. 

Step #3 — Virtual Try On

• Your selected gowns will be delivered to you in carefully packaged garment bags, along with a roll of measuring tape, some handy clips, and some other tools that may assist you with your try on process.

• Schedule your virtual try on session with our team, and resist the urge to try on the gowns until then!

• Invite a friend or family member to join you for the try-on session, so that they can be your ‘on-hand assistant’, helping you to get into and out of each gown, and to hold the phone/computer while you spin in front of the mirror.

• We’ll give you a call and be there to assist you via video chat, providing information about each gown and answering any questions you may have.  We’ll also discuss possible customisation options or any special alterations that may be required.

Step # 4 — The Decision

• Are you ready to say ‘Yes’ to the dress? If you would like to keep one, we will invoice you for the remainder, less your $150 deposit.

• If you require alterations, you will need to ship your new dress back with the rest of the gowns and we will complete the alterations before sending it back home to you.

• Carefully re-package the gowns into the provided box, place the provided shipping label on the box and ring the courier for a pick up (or drop at your nearest drop off location).

• Once the unwanted dresses are safely back in our shop, we will refund you your security deposit, minus our $100 administration fee.
